  • Welcome!

It really is true what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words! My biggest compliment about my work was from a past client who told me that my photos looked more beautiful than she remembered her event to be. I am so lucky to be able to do what I love! I started taking pictures when I was in high school back in Utah, & my love of photography grew from there. I have been a professional wedding photographer since 1996. I work with my Sister, Kim Craig, & together we make a fabulous team! We both Love the special touches and details that go into your day, we also love to have fun & connect with our couples, their friends & families! My 2nd favorite compliment is when the groom says “Wow! That was quick & painless, thanks!”. We also get along well with the furry kind, I have 2 dogs of my own & Kim has cats & horses. Thank you for taking time to stop by our site & visit with us, I look forward to hearing from you!

Flower Labyrinth

Southern Highlands Reserve at Lake Toxaway, North Carolina…An invitation-only private garden. From the Bride: ”

Charles and I got married at my family’s garden in Lake Toxaway, North Carolina.  I have spent every holiday and summer there since I can remember.  It is a very special place and we look forward to bringing our children there for years to come.

“My Dress – Vera Wang.  It was the dress I wore to make my debut.  After a few alterations, it was the perfect way to rewear a dress that would have probably never been worn again otherwise.”

“David LaVoy Flowers – Enchanting.  This is the one word I would use to describe the flowers that David did for our wedding.  David is truly talented and I could not have asked for more beautiful flowers.  One of the reasons I chose David was because of his eagerness to work with our budget.  He had done the flowers for my sister’s wedding the previous year.  My mother came out into her yard one day and saw David picking leaves from the magnolia tree.  When she asked what he was doing, he responded by saying, “I wanted to use magnolia leaves, but they weren’t in the budget.  So I came over here with the chance that you had a magnolia tree that I could gather leaves from.”  Now how many florists would do that?

Epting Events – A couple of summers ago, I was at a farm party in Highlands, NC where Lee Epting had catered the most amazing southern supper.  I remember approaching him saying, “If I can convince my boyfriend to marry may one day, I want you to do the wedding.”  And that is exactly what I did.  He seemed to exemplify the perfect balance between casual, but sophisticated.  Rustic, yet elegant.  And, I must add, he has the most amazing port-o-potties Music, Air Conditioning, you name it, they have it.

“If I were to have one bit of advice about choosing vendors, it is this. Choose vendors that you enjoy working with.  The wedding is just one day, but the planning process lasts much longer.  The people that I chose to help me with the wedding are what made it fun!”
